I fail at guessing because I haven't watched a lot of these movies, but here goes.

I actually haven't seen any of these movies, except for Ben Button, but I do not think it's the best. I'm going to say Mickey Rourke in The Wrestler.

Actor in Supporting Role

Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight, hands down.

Actress in Leading Role

Kate Winslet in The Reader because she won a ton of rewards in the Globes... is that what its called?

Actress in Supporting Role

Penelope Cruz in Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Haven't seen it, but definitely want to.

This is a toughie cause I haven't seen any of these movies... I'll say The Duchess because... it sounds like it would have the most elaborate costumes.

I also haven't seen any of these but I have heard of Man on Wire due to Rob's blog. Probably won't be it, but who knows.

Documentary Short

No idea. The Conscience of Nhem Em for kicks.

Film Editing

The Dark Knight. I know this won't keep working forever but damn that was an awesome movie.

Foreign Film

Waltz with Bashir. Haven't seen it. Looks awesome.

Make-Up

Okay not going to go with The Dark Knight. Definitely The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Or... maybe Hellboy? cause I guess Ben Button is all computer?

Music (Score)

This is tricky. I haven't seen the other two, and Slumdog and Ben Button didn't have any scores that I remembered to really stand out to me. HMM. I'm going to go with Wall-E or Milk. I've never seen either, but want to see both. Wall-E seems like it would have a good soundtrack, and Milk because it's by Danny Elfman and I love him.

Sound Editing

The Dark Knight. The best part in this movie is when it is complete silence and they are just driving... all you hear is them muttering to themselves and the cars engines. Probably not going to win, cause I know very little about sound editing, but hey! Dark Knight!
